LilCi World has no accounts, no sign-in and no ads. The simulation runs entirely in your browser, and your worlds, clans and chronicles are never uploaded to us. We collect anonymous game statistics that cannot tell who you are, and learn more only in two cases, if you allow analytics and if you send us feedback. Both are described below, together with everything the game keeps in your browser.
What the game keeps in your browser
lilci-languageThe language you picked.
lilci:simulation-modeThe last game mode you chose, so the next visit opens it.
lilci-welcome-seenlilci-throne-stops-mutedWhether you have already seen the welcome tour, and whether you turned the Battle for the Throne tips off.
sandbox:clanInfluencesandbox:settlementInfluencesandbox:conflictZonesMap overlay switches.
lilci-pwa-earnedlilci-pwa-dismissedWhether to offer installing the game as an app.
lilci-analytics-consentYour analytics choice and the date you made it.
service worker cacheA copy of the site's files, so the game loads faster and opens offline. No personal data.
lilci-save-overwrite-no-askWhether you asked not to be asked again before overwriting a save slot.
lilci-autosave-warn-no-askWhether you asked not to be warned again that a new game overwrites the autosave.
lilci-world-saves (IndexedDB)Your saved worlds (two slots of your own and the autosave). They stay on this device and are never uploaded to us. Clearing site data deletes them, and we can't restore them.
None of this leaves your device or identifies you. Each entry only makes a feature you use work, so it needs no consent. Clearing site data in your browser removes all of it.
Anonymous game statistics
To see how long people play, in which modes and how far their worlds get, the game sends short notes to our own server. This happens with or without the cookie banner choice, because the notes say nothing about who you are.
A note says that a session started or ended, and that the tab is still open and visible (once a minute). The other notes describe how far a world got and what you did in it. Examples are choosing a mode, starting a world, reaching a new stage or chapter, winning, using a miracle, saving or loading, and changing the speed. Each note carries the game mode, the world's tick and the platform you play on (our site or a game portal).
Notes from one tab share a random number that exists only while the tab is open. It is not written to your device, and a new tab gets a new one. We don't store your IP address or browser type, set no cookies and use no other identifier.
The notes are kept on our server, rented from Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany, for 90 days and then deleted. Only we read them, and only as totals.
Google Analytics, only if you allow it
If you press “Allow” in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited. Until then the analytics script is not loaded at all and the site sends nothing to Google. Our fonts are served from our own domain, too.
Google Analytics collects the pages you open, your approximate location (country and city, derived from your IP address, which Google Analytics 4 does not store), your device and browser type, and game events. The events are a game started (and in which mode), a mode switched, a side panel or the rules opened, a divine tool used, session length marks at 1, 5, 15, 30 and 60 minutes, tips muted, the welcome tour seen or closed, the app install prompt dismissed, divine energy totals of a Throne match (spent, received, lowest level, your role), and the moments when the Throne assault started and the Throne won (the match cycle and your role). No names, no email, and none of the names you type in the game.
It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>, which tell repeat visits apart. We shortened their lifetime to 13 months (Google's default is two years), turned off Google signals and ad personalisation, and use the data only to understand how the game is played. Google keeps event-level data for at most 14 months.
Google may process this data outside the EU, including in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Changed your mind? Open the cookie settings and decline. We stop sending data right away and delete the _ga cookies.
Feedback form
The in-game feedback form sends your rating, your comment if you write one, the game mode and your tutorial progress. We don't ask for your name or email, so please keep personal details out of the comment. The message reaches our mailbox through Resend (Resend, Inc., United States), an email delivery service acting on our behalf. Resend receives only the message itself, the fields listed above; your IP address is not put into it and is seen only by our hosting, as with any request. We keep feedback while it helps us improve the game and delete a message on request.
Victory share links
When you share a Throne victory, the link itself carries the result: the clan name, the cycle and a few match numbers. The preview image is drawn from what is in the link. We store nothing, and anyone you send the link to sees exactly what it contains.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and delivered through its CloudFront network, which keeps copies of pages on servers close to you. Like any web server, it records technical logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser) to keep the service running and protect it from abuse. AWS acts as our processor under its data processing addendum, which includes the EU standard contractual clauses. These logs are short-lived, and we don't use them to identify anyone.
Links to other services
Links to Discord and X take you to those services, and their own privacy policies apply there.
Legal grounds
- Analytics runs on your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a), LSSI-CE art. 22.2). You can withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect what was collected before.
- Anonymous game statistics rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how the game is played (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). Nothing is stored on or read from your device, so no consent is needed for it (LSSI-CE art. 22.2).
- Feedback is processed on our legitimate interest in answering it and improving the game (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). Sending it is your choice.
- Server logs rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the service running and secure (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
- Browser storage is strictly necessary for the features you use, so it needs no consent (LSSI-CE art. 22.2).
Age
LilCi World is for people aged 16 and over. We don't verify age, but if we learn that a child under 16 sent us data, we delete it.
Your rights
- Get access to the data we hold about you and a copy of it.
- Have it corrected or erased.
- Object to processing or ask us to restrict it.
- Withdraw analytics consent in the cookie settings, as easily as you gave it.
- Complain to a supervisory authority. The operator is in Spain, so that is the AEPD (aepd.es); you may also go to the authority in your own country.
There are no accounts, so we usually cannot find your data on our own. Tell us what to look for, for example the day you sent feedback. Write to contact@lilci.world.
If this page changes
The date at the top shows the current edition. If something material changes, such as a new kind of data, a new purpose or a new recipient, we will say so on the site rather than quietly.
